Motel 6 Bozeman, MT

I probably shouldn't even write a review for this place because the cat will be out of the bag. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, close to everything, affordable price, pets stay free. I paid $130 in Rochester, NY at a Motel6 and the place was terrible. I paid $60 here at Motel6 at Bozeman for a 10x better experience.

Bozeman hotels are all very busy these days and Motel 6 was busy as well. I managed to get a good room at a fair rate from the very courteous and knowledgeable manager. The room was Spartan (no frills) but very clean, plenty of towels, refrigerator, quiet, good AC/heat unit, large room, comfortable firm bed, all that I needed for a good night's sleep. I'd stay there again.

It's a Motel 6. The area is really grimy, but you can tell it's just the poor side of town, which we didn't mind because that's how you get yourself a cheap room! The lady at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name but she was working August 30, 2024 when we checked in) was such an angel. She laughed with us, made sure we had everything we needed. The towels didn't look very good, highly recommend investing in some towels because while they don't have to be high quality, they looked like they had seen better days, which made them look like they were not clean. TV channels didn't offer a lot.

I don't understand the one star reviews when the absolute ONLY complaint I can muster is the location is surrounded by a ton of homeless people who are also on drugs and roam the streets around here. But, as a single woman, I walked around at sunset and was met with nothing but kindness. This Motel 6 is above and beyond for its price. The pillows and bed were as comfortable as mine at home, beautiful floors, accommodations for pets, easily able to control room temp, hot showers with great pressure, and staff was over the top nice and protective of me. If you look close enough there is always something to deep clean or fix but for the price I would easily return and keep using the perks they provide! Laundry, pool, snacks ... as long as you aren't deterred by the location it's well worth it.

We paid about $170/night for Memorial Day weekend, which in my opinion is very high for the room (but we had some limited options ). Only Coffee is included, so very much a bare bones stay. We had 3 adults, one child, and a dog. The staff here are wonderful, and they really made the experience for us! The location was convenient for what we wanted, but being next to an apartment complex initially worried me (we didn’t have any issues with vehicle security). The street is good to walk and there is a McDonalds across the road. The rooms are really cute and have a good sized mini fridge, stand up shower (no tub), TV on the wall, and a pop out table (we had to add a towel to get ours even). The mattresses are horrible. 5” spring mattress, you’ll definitely feel it in the morning, we all tossed and turned all night . And our window was broken. The walls are normal, and we could hear hallway noise, but there weren’t any egregious guests. I think this would be a $75/night room at most if priced fairly.

In over three decades of using Motel 6 in my travels, the Bozeman Motel 6 is of the highest quality and value for price. The lobby has comfortable easy chairs, a gas fireplace and is inviting. The reception area is tidy. A coffee bar with tea offerings plus vending machines stocked with healthful and comfort snacks and drink is welcoming. The hallways are well maintained. Exits are stocked with disposable doggy bags. Rooms are five star in comfort, temperature control, availability of hot water and quality of linens, pillows and mattress. Parking areas were plowed out in response to heavy snowfall. Best yet from my first call to the property, Ben was upbeat and customer service oriented. Upon arrival, I discovered he was the manager. All, and I mean EVERY STAFF MEMBER during my two night stay were friendly, upbeat and gave the impression that you were a welcomed guest and they had a positive and supportive work environment. I wish I could count on this experience whenever I booked with a Motel 6!

A decent motel 6 for an overnight stay. Basic rooms, slept well. That's all you can ask really

Good looking indoor pool. Weirdos hanging out in the parking lot smoking 24/7. Guess they don't think parking lot is part of property. Better than smoking inside I guess. Best looking motel 6 I've been in.
